We had an insightful and engaging Online Workshop on IPR, Patents & Design Filing today, April 3, 2025.
The session kicked off with a warm Welcome Address by Dr. Sajid Alvi, Director, DIMR, who highlighted the objectives of the workshop and the critical role of intellectual property rights in fostering innovation.
Our keynote speaker, Dr. Bharat Suryawanshi, Assistant Controller of Patents & Designs, delivered an eye-opening session on the types of patents, design rights, and copyrights. Using a practical product example, he demonstrated how multiple IP protections work together to safeguard innovation.
With enthusiastic participation from across India, the interactive Q&A session further enriched the discussion, leaving attendees with valuable insights.
